GREENSBORO, NC--(Marketwire - Sep 27, 2012) - Gilbarco Veeder-Root and The Pantry, announced a continuation of their exclusive supply agreement for all fuel dispenserpaymentand automatic tank gauging (ATG) products and services. As part of the relationship, The Pantry will pilot Applause™ TV with Outcast as their exclusive digital forecourt media solution at sites across the Southeast.
The long-term partnership unites the worldwide technology leader in retail and commercial fueling solutions with the Southeast's premier, independently-operated convenience store chain to drive increased store traffic and consumer loyalty.

Also Gilbarco was the first in the industry to introduce forecourt EMV payment terminals. The EMV-certified Encore 700 S, with its fastest processing speeds and built-in memory, accommodates easy upgrades for mobile payment and other emerging technologies.
